Typically this has a heading (e.g. TONIGHT, TOMORROW or FRIDAY) followed by a list of 1, 2 or 3 programmes, each with a time.
OSN (On Screen Next)
This is a strap that sits on the upper part of the screen, keyed over a programme approximately 2 minutes before the end of a show. It consists of a single programme title.
NEC (Next episode caption)
This is a caption used to promote the time/day next episode of a programme. Typically about 1 minute from the end of a show a caption appears that says NEXT TIME... On the Clarity we fade up a day/time caption (e.g. Next Wednesday 8.00). On network programmes the NEXT TIME... Caption is on the programme tape. On some local programmes the NEXT TIME... Caption is added from the Clarity
Next Holder
This item runs directly after a programme that cannot have an ECA. (e.g. News, Weather, Sport, Childrens). A background is run off a server. The Clarity keys over a caption of the form:
